Elevate Healthcare’s partnership with Imperial Valley College has led to greater student engagement and comprehension, as well as a 2x increase in annual student enrollment.

Problem

Students struggled to engage during simulation labs due to visibility issues and lack of inclusivity in learning styles, affecting students’ retention and confidence.

Solution

The college implemented LearningSpace so every student can view demonstrations in real-time, regardless of their lab seat. Students and faculty also have access to recorded sessions, if clarification on a skill is needed.

Outcome

Imperial Valley College’s implementation of LearningSpace improved engagement and comprehension among students, increased simulation sessions, left students feeling more prepared for real-life scenarios, and played a role in Imperial Valley College’s expansion in annual Registered Nursing student enrollments from 80 to 150.
